Hello! I want to process some chickens. They weigh about 6 -7 pounds each. How much will the weight ( on average) be after processing ? These are LF orps. :idunno

In average, how much weight loss in a meat chicken after you have it processed. My dual purpose chickens weigh about 7 lbs now and am debating on how long I should wait to process. Thanks!

Same problem here. We did make a cardboard chicken condo and used a small branch from a tree. Punch a hole on either side of the box and fed it through. They grew so quickly between week 2 and week 3 that they were stepping over it, so we removed it. Bought a grill and it's in a huge...
