I have a bunch of Bantams for sale. Chicks from about 10 weeks old on down to a few weeks old. Some are purebred and some are mixed. In the pen I have Cochin's, Frizzle Cochin's, Golden Seabrights, and Millie Fleur. $2.00 each.

Hi, I'm sure no expert but I think he will have no problem making the rounds on your 7 hens. I think one Roo for maybe 8-10 hens is the rule, possibly 12 hens. Someone here will be able to tell you for sure.

I think, in my case here, it is that, a lot of the old timers as kids, their parents had chickens that laid brown eggs and therefor they want them now. So I've been told. Also it does depend on your location as well. A friend who came to visit from France was freaked out by our grocery store...
