I have call ducks which layed from February till the last few weeks since then I haven't had a single egg it's been 3 weeks now I was advised they would stop laying while they were moulting will they continue to lay until winter once they have finished this process
I have two drakes and 4 call ducks who are all very friendly especially my one drake who for some reason has got very aggressive with me the last 2 days every time I go to stroke him or pick him up he attacks me also when I enter the garden he walks up and down his pen buffing out his chest can...
Wasn't expecting them this early,was told late February early march.i had another 2 this morning but I found them by the pond not in the coop know any reasons why?
Also I have noticed none of the ducks where brooding the eggs is this because they are so young or the weather been too cold, new to this and would appreciate any advice

Well, by clean out you mean fully? all the bedding? i am a daily picker lol i clean out wet/soiled bedding daily and will add as needed i only do a full clean out if i find it needed which is usually only a couple times a year, i bed my calls on shavings, i am honestly not a fan of straw...
