Aggressive drake

I have two drakes and 4 call ducks who are all very friendly especially my one drake who for some reason has got very aggressive with me the last 2 days every time I go to stroke him or pick him up he attacks me also when I enter the garden he walks up and down his pen buffing out his chest can anyone shed any light

Also I've just picked a duck up and he was biting my legs furiously

Could well be aggression because of approaching mating season?

I thought that because they have being mating in pool,I just hope he isn't like it with the other drake
