Hi, so I recently got ducks and I was wondering if someone could help wall me through making diapers for them? I know there was a post somewhere on here, but I didn’t see directions on it. Thanks.
I am not entirely sure, at least a month and a half. TSC gave them to us for free (we had another one, but recently my power was out and one of them died because it was too cold for the poor boy) because the Peking had the wry neck and a different breed had what I call claw feet. I just started...
I recently got some ducklings. My Peking with wry neck occasionally kissy-bites my chickens, not hard enough to cause pain but still. I have 3 other small ducklings, and she does it to them too. Should I be concerned with them being alone with each other?
Can someone PLEASE tell me what kind of rooster this is? My wife thinks he’s an odd-colored D’uccle, but I feel like he doesn’t fit the bill as far as physical appearances go. And yes, I named him after Lu Bu’s horse from The Three Kingdoms, Red Hare. Lol.
He was like this since I’ve had him. He’s been cold a lot, but I’ve been having him lay with me several times a day because I’ve been worried about him. I keep him and his siblings in a box that I cleaned daily. He was eating fine earlier and they have been eating chick grit. I didn’t notice any...
I have a Silver-Spangled Hamburg chick (I ordered a male and a female; I believe that this is the male) that is little less than a month old. However, for apparently no reason at all, he’s been listless, drooping his wings, and falling on his back a lot, and has trouble getting up. Him and his...
I don’t believe so, I recently put them in the barn because all the chickens needed to be out of the house. I don’t recall the wound being there prior to last Monday.
Today I found this wound on a baby chick. It kind of looks like he snagged himself on some wire. But It seems greenish beneath the skin of the wound. Can anyone shed some light on this mystery? He’s the only injured baby of 7, and there haven’t been any incidents in the coop.
