    I did a brief necropsy of a hen who died with peritonitis. I caught just the day before as she seemed normal. No droopy pale comb or strange behaviour.     Dosing for short acting penicillin injectable for duck

    Short and simple - have 2 Pekín with bumble foot- tried holistic. Measures now knees are swelling- how much injectable penicillin or baytril to give? Called vet at in set said oral meds not a good option for ducks and they really aren't that experienced with ducks....

    Anyone have experience with Lymphoproliferative Disease Virus? We have wild turkeys who graze on the fields with the chickens regularly. Are pox spread in bird to bird contact? Or could he have gotten them from a wild turkey or other bird while free ranging rather than a mosquito?
