Internal laying or tumor

I did a brief necropsy of a hen who died with peritonitis. I caught just the day before as she seemed normal. No droopy pale comb or strange behaviour. When I cut her stomach her insides looked like a folded up octopus. I didn't have my phone so pics are from this am....what may have been cause of death?

She was about a yr and half Jersey Giant

I have no idea. I am very sorry for your loss. It's horrible to suddenly lose a good laying hen.
