thank yall for helpin me out. all of your post are helping

they are growing fast and they seem to be doing quite well with just starter. but i was seeing that people fed their chicks small weeds, or small portions of veggies.

i gave them a huge beetle the other day and they kept playin keep away. the momma was watchin them. they never really left her side while they played.

i have a rhode island red and the rooster is a jersey giant. i have seen them mate and i was wondering if the hen will hatch eggs when she lays them. i have a coop with another jersey giant hen which has 2 chicks. can i put the rhode island red hen in with the giant? will she not attach the red...

i have been feeding them the basic starter feed but what else can i feed them so they are healthy and grow up nice and big?

i have a jersey giant hen and she has 2 chicks. one hatched about 3 or 4 hours after the first. but here are 7 eggs in all. with the remaining 5 hatch? she is an amazing mother. she puffs up and extends her arms to make a wall so i cant see the chicks. ad se showed them how to eat feed today.

the chick is ablackish color with white on the chest and a big spot on its head.

what are the bantam breeds that hAVE no leg feathers?

someone told me it could be from stress. and i did get the chick from tractor supply. so thats prob. the reason why it has it. but im not for sure

can pastey butt spread to the other chicks?

i removed it all and added honey to the water. he is still vocal but isnt as active as all the others. how long would it take to see improvement or bad signs?

I have a hen that is making more noise than she normaly does when she is on the nest.... is she broody? if not, what does a broody hen act or look like?
