    i have 11, 6 day old chicks. one squats to poop and nothing comes out. pooper is extended and bald. white paste is slowly oozing out. Other chicks are starting to peck at her. What to do? I have purle stuff to apply to keep other chicks from pecking.

    I bought 5 GSL's I hope they lay 300 eggs a yr. From my previous flock, my Ameracaunas laid the best. I had 2 and I usually had 2 easter eggs everyday. I loved their pea combs and their beautiful color.

    I would suggest adding younger pullets. I have 2 groups of six hens. 3 months age difference. hopefully one group molts while the other group lays and vice versa.
