How do you get a rooster to stop constantly mounting the hens? He's a really friendly SW but he keeps mounting the girls and tearing the feathers up on their backs. What should I do?

The girls are 37 weeks old. We have been feeding them Purena layer formula. I don't have any pictures of her on my laptop yet but I will send some of her tomorrow. When she flew up to the roosts, I noticed that she lost about 7 feathers. They just fell out. Could she have mites?

Egg laying and light for upcoming colder months

The size and color of the eggs will vary until they get used to laying. They wont have a specific laying time for a while as they get used to their laying schedules.

Eating eggs from a newly laying hen.

I don't wait. We eat all of the eggs with good shells that aren't rubbery.
