Hi there, I have a Pekin Cross who has been very unwell since this morning. After reading a lot and through my own experience, I suspected that she had egg peritonitis / possibly egg bound. After following the advice of the vet and having her on a heat mat inside, she was thoroughly miserable...

She pulled through :) She has a bit of splayed leg, but is otherwise healthy and cheeky! I have put her on nutritional yeast and a vitamin supplement which will hopefully support her legs. Thanks everyone - 2 outta 3 is OK :)

Thanks :) I wouldn't say I am experienced, but have helped a few out now and I only ever do a very small intervention, and only when gut feel tells me it will help :)
