I'll keep my fingers crossed, for you! I had the opposite happen with my second hatch - incubator was off for a full 12hrs at day 15 :( Only one ended up not hatching, so not bad odds. (But I triple check the incubator at night now)

That is an excellent guess! I certainly will - I've never seen a chick develop like this. Good luck on your first hatch! & ill post next Monday/Tuesday when everyone starts pipping 😊

Is she eating and drinking normally? 6 week old chicks don't usually need high heat, unless its quite cold. Any bloody stools or visible injuries? I hope someone with more experience chimes in with good suggestions.
