So we're on day 16 for the d'Uccles & Serama, and I decided to candle today since Friday is lockdown.
I have an egg where the development looks off to me, but I havent been hatching for long, so I was hoping for some expert eyes.
With the rest of the eggs, the chicks are pretty much filled out in there, you can see movement and such, and look to be about what you'd expect for this point. This specific egg, the chick is much smaller and there's still tons of room inside the egg - i can see breathing and movement. Off to one side there is a darker spot? Not sure what it is, but I've not seen that before either.
1st picture is the chick, second is the dark spot (id like to add in that the dark spot is not attached to the chick, it's floating separately) and 3rd is again the chick.
I have a short video where I'm turning the egg, which makes it easier to see what I'm talking about, but i don't know how to post it.
Not sure if I should just remove this one from the incubator or keep it in there. Again, everyone else is right on schedule, size wise. Incubator is at 99f, humidity at 45%.
I apologize if I sound ridiculous, this is only the 4th time I've hatched eggs.
