    She kind of girgles when she is breathing . She wasn't a good egg producer(but she is 3) maybe 1 every couple days - don't think for a couple days I have gotton an egg from her . she seems to have the same symptons tonight have her in a dog crate away from the others.

    1 week ago I acquired 10 new chickens to the coop / I have divided the coop - my orignal 5 chickens have been able to still get out and free range.. So the coop as been divided by fence for a week now so they can see each other --- now what is my next step?

    I have one girl that stared limping today not sure what is hurting her.. Actually have 2 limping just got 9 more 1 year old hens and one is laying down alot and limping - think maybe it got hurt in the transport process. any suggestions on what to do?

    introducing new chickens to the coop

    We have five girls that are about 3 years old, I just acquired 9 more hens about a year old -- any suggestions on introducing them -- -ended up seperating them because they were fighting... didn't dare to leave them all in the coop tonight so the old girls are loose in the barn .

    Sorry for your loss -- just lost one today --- not sure if she had a egg that was stuck or a tumor...... didn't know it was going to be so hard to have a chicken die.... I had 9 chickens and she was my favorite --- prettiest and the only one I had named....
