Update! So, I finally heard back from Texas A&M poultry science prof. Basically he said, sometimes chickens just die for no reason it seems or it could’ve potentially been botulism. He also said that Marek’s is very rare. In order to get a definitive answer, my best bet would be to contact TAMU...
Thank you so much! I’ll add my location to my profile! I’m new here so still learning.:D I’m in southeast Texas. I did contact my local extension office. I’m waiting on Texas A&M to contact me for further treatment/advice. Thank you so much.
Sorry, I accidentally replied to the wrong comment. That was to your other comment. But as far as moving the coop, I can’t. It’s huge and cemented into the ground. I wormed them all with safeguard last Friday and will be working again this Friday. I’m so sick over this. My neighbor across from...

Update on my flock. I’m preparing myself to lose my entire flock. I’ve deep cleaned and disinfected EVERYTHING the chickens touch with bleach, but I have another girl come up sick today. She’s wobbly and shakey, not eating....I’m beside myself. I know this virus can live in th ground for quiet...

I really hope it’s not. I’m thinking Mareks or internal parasites. None of my birds have external parasites, that I can see anyways. Thanks for your input!
There’s no respitory issues going on though and I would assume since Mareks disease is so contagious, that it would have spread to my others by now? Please, correct me if I’m wrong.
