I Just got 7 silkie chickens, and decided to build my own coop, and add onto current chicken run. The silkies will have their own coop and run. I am planning to use my current run as an established wall. I had no plans to follow, just what was in my head.
Had to have one of my girls euthanized. We sent her off for Necropsy at UCONN. The report came back as a severe infection of the spleen to the liver. They described it as necrotizing splenitis. No signs of Merek's. The vet says this infection is a random infection, but asked how my flock was doing. My folk is fine! Should I us my sick Brooder again?
My Little almost 6 week old Bean. She is an Easter Egger, and is much smaller than normal. Super sweet, but keeps up with the bigger girls. Any Idea or thoughts on Bean being smaller?
