    I Just got 7 silkie chickens, and decided to build my own coop, and add onto current chicken run. The silkies will have their own coop and run. I am planning to use my current run as an established wall. I had no plans to follow, just what was in my head.

    I have noticed recently as the weather has gotten warmer that wasp, and other Bees etc are making there way into the coop. I have placed hardware cloth over vents. Now my plan is to place screen over top to prevent these guys from coming into our girls house, Anyone else have success with this?

    Hi everyone! Just giving an update on my chicks. They will be 7 weeks on Wednesday. I have a small Easter Egger who I call Bean. She is much smaller, and weighs much less than my other girls. She acts normal, and eats/drunks normal. Should I be concerned with her size? She definitely is...

    My Little almost 6 week old Bean. She is an Easter Egger, and is much smaller than normal. Super sweet, but keeps up with the bigger girls. Any Idea or thoughts on Bean being smaller?
