thankyou, i am very proud of him, people say 'its what you would expect a traditional rooster to look like'
its a shame today wasn't very sunny, but when it is and the sun catches his black feathers it turns to a blue tint!
1 have recently bought two POL bluebelles, i know they are decent eggs layers but i just wondered how many should i expect to get a year? how large? size?
thanks guys
as with everything, it varies breed to breed. but they will have bumps for a while. They probably won't start growing significantly until he is around 8+ months I would say
during the day is the perfect temperature to put them outside!
at night it might be a bit too chilly so i'd either move the lamp or move the chicks back inside
depends on the natural size of the breed, the first one has much more complete/even feathering than the other 2 ( i know no.3 is a transylvanian naked neck but still)
it is very difficult to tell but, the ones with the brown stripes could either be leghorns chicks or welsummers chicks.
type them in on the internet and see what you think!
