    My 3 week old BOs are flying around a bit... I'm thinking they would like a roost in the brooder. But with 25, I am not sure if putting a roost in will just piss them off because only the top dogs will get space??

    Sand on coop floor - need opinion on choosing sand

    Thanks, I am guessing masonry sand is about the same as sandbox sand, so I'll go with that at only $40 per cubic yard. How think do people generally lay the sand in the coop and the run. I'm guessing around 3" each, or is that overkill?
