    got home seriousl at 12:30 Am, baby #2 was born and almost dry, both are in a plastic shoe box on top of the bator in a dry dish towel. will be funny in a few weeks and the babies follow me around. after all, I am the first thing they have seen.

    as funny as it sounds, I went to a pet shop that sells the reptile humidity gauge and thomometer, and they are the exact same models shown in pictures on the forum. the temp is good up to 120 degrees, and digital will show within .1 degree ont hemeter where as the one that comes with it reads...

    if you do by chance find one, be careful carring it, if it breaks, it will gag you, you cannot wash it off quick enough, and worse, it more likely has built up pressue in the egg and will actually explode from the pressure. find a rock, throw toward rock to break, hope the wind is blowing away...

    I candled the eggs earlier today and marked them with a red marker, here is the only picture in the dark that would take cearly, the red marked ones are given until sunday to be darker or be taken out. oddly, some that were dark earlier became lighter oddly later when I took the PIC.

    OK, 3 days, due next thursday on 5-22 - 3 =5-19, do it monday morning off with the auto egg turner, OK, I can do that with the turkey eggs. oh, as backup plan, I do have a turkey sitting on eggs, but she only got to keep about 5- 6 eggs, and they should hatch about a week later.
