    Recieved this hen from a family member who has no idea of the breed. I don't have a clue. I was thinking along the brahma family but they all seem white. Buff? this one has feathers on feet. Thanks for the input in advance.

    Thank you all for your input, last night the temp inside the incubator did fluctuate as normal but the temp inside the fake egg did stay stable at 99.5 to 100 all night. The temp guage I have records the high and low temp will get it to a 100 which is what it gets to now. Then drops to 96 prior to kicking on. Well wish me luck if this is the case think I will...

    52 percent and stable. The air inside the incubator rises to 104 but drops to 98 prior to water heater thermostat kicking the light bulb on.

    A real egg? What do you do with that? The question is; Should my temp in the egg have to be stable at 100 degrees? Or should the temp in the incubator be stable, because my fluctuates 5 degrees.
