    Blood splatter in coop, nesting boxes, all over the waterer and feeder!

    I can't figure it where it's coming from! I have one hen that is molting. Otherwise, I have 8 seemingly healthy hens, but every time I go out to the coop/run there is blood splattered! Today two hens have blood on their backs, but it doesn't look like it came from them. What do I do?!

    I have a young girl, 20-ish weeks. She's been laying for a couple of weeks now. She's an aquila, she's given us a couple double yolk eggs. Last night at almost dark my husband went out to the run and watched her lay this: She has access to oyster shell, and organic layer feed. What else can I do?

    I have 2 or 3 laying hens now, we've got a handful of eggs this week. None of them however are in the nesting box, they are all next to it in the corner of the coop!
