Hi Coach,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I've been washing with epsom salt everyday and then applying betadine. They're certainly not looking any worse which is super promising!! Doesn't seem like I need to wrap yet but definitely going to keep an eye on them.
Thanks again!!
Hi all!!!
My 12 week old boy has this on the bottom of both feet in the exact same spots! He's not limping or anything. I just noticed it this morning and have applied rubbing alcohol anti septic spray on them. Does it look like bumblefoot or just cuts? Thanks!!
Hi all,
I was under the impression ducks need to be able to submerge their nostrils underwater so they can flush them out so I dipped my ducklings bills into their waterer past their nostrils to make sure it was deep enough. Anyway after that I freaked myself out I might of harmed them so I...
Hi everyone,
My baby duckling is only just about 24 hrs old. It occasionally flips onto its back and flails around unable to right itself! It does have minor splay leg which im planning to treat tomorrow when I can supervise. Anyway is this normal? It might be a bit weaker because I had to...
Hi thank you so much for your reply! I took the egg out and removed some shell and membrane and put the egg back in. Baby is absorbing yolk happily and showing no signs of distress. I’m rubbing coconut oil on the membrane routinely to keep the membrane moist. Al looking good so far
Hi everyone,
Duckling externally pipped around 2:00 yesterday, it’s now 10:30am. The membrane around the pip is brownish yellow and I can see the duckling pushing on it, the duckling is also at the wrong end of the egg. I’ve been rubbing coconut oil on it every few hours with a diy long cotton...

Thank you everyone. I was thinking the same thing, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making the wrong decision first. Thank you. I will take her to the vet to be humanely put to sleep today.
Hi all,
my beautiful 4 1/2 year old leghorn has waterbelly. She hasn't been well for awhile now but has seemed to get worse over the last few days. I put her on OxyMav B (A broad spectrum anti biotic) hoping it might help but after my research and learning about waterbelly, and examining her I...
Hi all. I have an unwell hen who I have separated from the the flock and started treating with oxymav b. I am unsure on what amount she needs to get. It says 5g to 50ml of water for 3-5 days and 50ml will treat two parrots. So my question is do I just give her the 50ml and when she’s finished...
