They are just coming up to a year old this morning one of them fell over yet we do not know what is causing them to do this they are a bit less lively than the others
My two light Sussex chickens combs have recently been changing colour flops who's comb was bright red has recently gone pale pink to a murky dark purples red and my other chicken tinys comb is very small and has gone from very pale pink to a deep purpley red should I be concerned
Thanks for the advice it's just concerns me how she picks on a single chicken rather than the flock as they have a lot to eat ( a varied diet of pellets corn maize banana and leftovers) she used to attention seek when she was younger as Harry would get to come inside and wtch tv and sleep inside
Last week I got six mixed hens to accompany my five light Sussexs
When shutting them up last night I noticed that kelly(my light Sussex) what brutally picking my new chicken daffy a head i didn't know how to punish her
I have also noticed she always pecks tr chicken around food an often breaks...
Since we got my chicken dusty she sits alone away from the others and recently she had an eye infection which caused we to loose her sight in that eye and she has became increasingly distant and she waits for around 10 mins after the coop is opened to leave is something wrong
We have an chicken called dusty she recently suffered an eye infection which caused her eye to close up and she has lost her sight she has always been quite lonely and we do not know why she lost a lot of weight and now she sits alone more than she used to whats wrong ??
My beautiful light Sussex hen harry always runs up to see me she is very energetic yet whenever I approach her she sits in a squat like position with her "shoulders" raised she often shakes
