    Any results yet with the meat?? I have been feeding mine black oil sunflower seeds. seems to have slowed down the feather picking,, but man I should call my hens rhoad island redasses .. all there buts are beat red .. Help!

    Well heck guys.. We separated the 2 we THOUGHT were doing most of the feather eating,, Now everyones eating feathers .... lets see 18 birds. 55 feathers per min.. 23,760 feathers a day,, I must ask no,, How many feathers is on one a them boogers ?????

    We have 19 rhode red hens , we had a couple roo's but when we saw the feathers all missing from our hens backs, we got rid of one roo, then the other, its been a month ago. 3 of our girls were bald on there backs. We checked for mites and dont see any .We thought we were seeing some improvement...

    accepted the male>>>??? hahahah My rooster grabs my 15 week old hens by the neck, yanks em to the ground holds em down with his feet and lets em have it... poor little hens screamin the whole time,, My rooster should be prosecuted !!!

    wow,, i wnet out last night and mine ALL got the roosting down pat,. they were all roosting on my poles, problem now is they ear roosting in the Run,, not inside the coop ......... they are mental.......:o
