oppinions needed on a sad and graghic question

My daughter is 12 and I asked her, if we were in your shoes what should we do? She wouldn't want her friend in pain and would want to be apart of things. However she wouldn't want to see the end (the injection or the burial). She would want to be able to say goodbye in her own way, by preparing...

Pecking order - how much dominance is too much

I'm interested too. I'm introducing now myself. I keep the littles ones seperate from the older flock with a fence. Lastnight we moved the fence and let them check each other out. It went pretty good, we only let this go on for about 45 minutes then seperated them again, so all the babies could...

Is anyone on here South Beaching?

I'm like that too, sugar & pasta are a craving that won't go away. I must also include BREAD.. They are my top comfort foods. Sometimes I can exercise, sometimes I can't, but with SB I was able to learn to keep track of what I was eating & how much & how often. People that really enjoy food have...

Can't teach an old Dog New tricks?

Does this include Chickens? We have a hen that was here when we bought the property, she's a good layer, brooder & mommy, but she is mean to any & all new young chics that we introduce to the flock. She really goes bananas! She's about 3 years old and is a Cochin. I'm getting ready to add 11...
