It's the age. She's still a baby and see the chickens as her "peeps" When she starts to mature she will do both - hang out with the chickens, and enjoy a swim in the pond. <3

Are you looking to show these birds, or just keep them as pets?
The final feathering isn't too bad, but there is 1 golden hen and the drake is not up to par with the standard. If all you want is pets they will be perfectly fine.
You lucky dawg. THere are a couple nice breeders in the NC area for runners. Greenlands Farm has great Grey runners... I'd love to have some of their stock.

Definitely runners in the mix. the drake has a nice upright posture for a cross, so I'd say less than 25% other breed, and judging his color his parents are also diluted, mostly likely one was fawn based ont he colors of the hen as well.... Looking at the ducklings I would say you've got buff...
Best test? Crack that sucker. If it cracks like a chicken egg, it is a chicken egg. Duck eggs are much thicker, harder and the membrane inside is harder to separate. There will be no doubt if you try to open it.
Best thing you can do is remove the food. As seen in the video they will come during the day if they can't find it at night. When I get the first hint that there are rats around I switch to feeding a scoop of food in the am and one in the afternoon. The morning food I have no control over - so...
Different for every duck is he coming at you with his head down - neck extended? This can be either aggression or submission. Is he just chasing you without his mouth open? If he's doing that it's definitely his imprinting and he's probably wanting to mate with you.
