    Just wanted to follow up... I have close to 50 chickens and have not seen one showing any symptoms. I do have ~8 hens that are around 7 years old. Also, I have a couple hens with signs of gleet, but nothing horrible. I will update if i see anything unusual.

    Rhode Island Red and Easter Egger Mix

    for the last two years my RIR rooster and EE have had 8 pullets. 7 have been red 1 of the eight is a black sheep. Would this be some recessive trait? I attached pictures of the rooster, mommy hen, typical red offspring, and the dark mix.
