    Are you sure they are not breeding when you are not looking? I do not see mine mate unless I hide behind a tree and sit there for a few minutes. They think I'm gone and then they track down the girls.

    It's the Sumatra. The charts I've read said there is a possibility of a "tinted" egg. This egg is a very light brown/buff color and it is small. The Sumatra is a small hen so it all adds up. Mystery solved and she barely misses a day of egg-laying. We have 10 hens-3 bluish green eggs (EE)...

    Yeah, I'm suspicious of the mystery chicken, white faced spanish, or whatever. She clearly has white earlobes though, you'd think that means she lays a white egg but I'm thinking she must be a cross.
