    Why thank you destinduck, yea here in michigan we get a thing called snow that kills our grass in the fall....but my geese do fine until it comes back in the spring. I'll be sure to let you know if my cans start breeding on land lol.

    I have offered to take some hybrid waterfowl, to keep them from getting destroyed, but while vent sexing them I found little white worms in them! What are they and how do I treat them, as they are not coming to my place with worms!!!

    Why are swans so expensive?

    Another factor is space. A breeding pair of swans takes up a lot of pen space! So even when you get the breeding down it's not like you have room for tons of breeding swans anyway.
