    Meet Sven. My hen hatched 2 of her eggs and then gave up on the last 3, So I put them under a halogen light just in case. When Sven hatched. (The other 2 didn't make it) I put him out in the coop and the hen kept pecking at him trying to hurt him....so he became my lone ranger. Anyone have any...

    (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, we moved to Bixby, Oklahoma from Houston. Went to the local Sutherland and saw the baby chick. And it has snowballed quickly. (2) How many chickens do you have right now? 23 (3) What breeds do you have?buff orphanages...

    HELP

    I have 2 hens that went broody a bantam and buff. The buff stopped sitting on 3 eggs 4 days after 2 hatched. So I put them in a make shift incubator. 1 hatched 48 hrs ago. The buff tries to hurt it when I try to put it with the other 2. And the bantam just ignores it.... Any words of wisdom. Jac
