I am at a loss on how to deal with scaly leg mites. I have been treating about every 2 weeks for 6 weeks, and I STILL have chickens getting them. My coop has a dirt floor, and the chickens have a covered area outside that used to be grass, but is now dirt. Here's what I've tried so far:

Right now I have 12 chickens. The original 2 are mixed breed (Quail Antwerp Belgian x Black Frizzle and Black Australorp x Black Frizzle). I recently got 5 White Silkies and 5 Ameraucana/EEs from Ideal. Tang (the rooster) and the frizzle hen are expecting babies very soon. Tang's body is divided...
This is my first time using an incubator, and I've been paranoid that I'm going to mess something up. Today is day 22 (if I don't count the day I set the eggs), and I just heard a little peep coming from the incubator!
I used a $3 little LED flashlight to get the movement in my video. I've noticed that the lighter brown bantam eggs are the ones that show the most movement. It's harder to see movement in the darker brown standards size eggs.
Here's one of the chicks on day 11 of incubation. They're all very active.

I was hoping they would come back tonight....so such luck. The dog got ahold of one of them that came back into the backyard this morning. It's ok, but living upstairs recovering from shock and teeth. Do you think once it's healthy enough to move back outside that the others might come back...
I hope they all end up finding each other. I know one is over in the woods by the neighbors house, one is the complete opposite direction, and I have no idea where the others are. The screaming stopped, so I guess they either got eaten or hopefully located each other. I'll keep their food out...
My 4 week old guineas escaped out of their enclosure this morning. They apparently all went in separate directions. One was on the front porch, but as soon as it saw me it took off in the woods. There's one way down in the wetlands near my house (I hear it screaming its head off), but no idea...
