    I have 5 in this coop and they just needed a little more room. The coop looked bigger in tractor supply on display. My wife talked me into it rather than building one which I could appreciate her reasoning for wanting a prefab. But this next picture is the one I built out of pallets for my silkies.

    my chickens have gotten a lot bigger and the prefab chicken coop is starting to look smaller so I started building on to the run.

    I do want to breed the Easter egger rooster with Easter egger hen. My kids are also attached to him I am just interested in a silkie mix. But if I went that route could I put the Easter egger rooster back in once I have the desire mix.
