    the white head spot on barred rocks isn't a complete tell. Both cockrels and pullets have it. Generally the pullet has a more defined spot while the cockrel has a more shapeless spot.

    I believe what the original poster of the 6 chick issue was talking about is that the TSC where she shops misinterprets the 6 chick minimum and makes people buy ingroups of 6. She was not saying that was what she thought!
