    He probably did it, when he got on their back to breed, he looked for something to hold on to, so he grabbed to comb, we had a chicken that went through that too.

    Check their vents, if they are white or yellow then they will lay in the next 10 days. But I do have a hen who is laying, but never turned white OR yellow (she isn't right in the mind).

    I don't have a good camera. We have compared it to other eggs and it is oblong. My main concern is Leia though, any ideas on that? I'll send a pic of our normal egg then too.

    So guys, get this, my White Leghorn (Leia) has laid me 2 eggs today as well, so my Amber-link that did it is fine but Leia and Amber share a coop. AND now by 20 week old Buff Orpington has laid for 3 weeks now and her eggs are SO oblong(down below)! Any ideas?

    She seems fine, though it is getting cold here, so she is slightly shivering, but you don't notice it until you hold her.
