    Baby chick 1 day old not eating.

    Chick died after one day. It never ate on its own and never pee'd or poop'd. I think it was just a sickly chick to begin with. The people we bought if from Mill Valley Chickens replaced her next time they had new chicks come in and the new chick is doing fine. Thanks for all of the advice.

    Thanks. I put sugar in the water and she does not drink it. I also tried scramble eggs and she did not touch them either. I will put some sugar in the syringe and give that a try also. The pedialyte is what you give children if they are dehydrated so I figure it might work with the chick.
