    It stands fine no signs of injury and I can straighten the leg out but it just won’t do it on its own.

    Has anyone had any luck using heated water in containers to keep baby chicks warm. I am trying to avoid electric heat sources. I live in southeast Louisiana and night time temperatures right now are in the 50s.

    Just gat an incubator but my khaki Campbell hens are in a pen with my runner hen and drake. I put the eggs in the incubator anyway just to try a test run. They seem to be doing well. What can I expect to get what will khaki runners look like?
