    although i love my hen i do say that she bullies the other hens, she is the dominant hen in the coop. only con. they lay big white eggs.she is a good setter. i have 3 young daughter and a cockerel from her and my black Americana roo. , offspring carry them selfs with confidence. Good Mom.

    i have about 25 of these hens and 2 roosters i had gotten a about a year ago. These hens were quick to mature and layed through the winter. great breed to have they are not aggressive and lay a nice rich brown colored egg.

    ok, I Know a Ranch who breeds white ameraucanas and i want to get a few hens, because i have read that if you do black (Roo, which i own already.) and White (Hen) you get blues ? Which is what i was referring to because i saw the Chart in the past post. sorry if i was unclear about my question.

    Easter Eggers-What breeds do YOU prefer to cross your Ameraucanas with?

    Hey guys quick question, i have a black AM Rooster. And a blua Andalusian what color eggs would they come out to?. I have 2 chicks hatched out already. They both look identical but the first is more black and the second one is more silverishh?. PS. They both have tuffs on there cheeks. . Thanks. :))

    I had Cornish X Hens and once they got to the age of laying eggs, they were laying often. . Also My Grandmother had about 4 of them and a white Leghorn male. they were to heavy to walk and he would mate with them, they layed big White eggs,
