They are clear, but she has taken a turn for the worse. Twice now, she has had what looks almost like a seizure, where she flops over and her neck goes stiff.
She was out on grass all day, but I haven't given her greens as a treat in several days. She did perk up in the warm water and pooped, but she is still doing the weird thing with her mouth. She ate some meal worms, though.
I decided to put her in the bathtub in warm water. She pooped a whitish light green poop, then dark green with what may be a roundworm. Her bill is not warm and I can see through her nares. I am attaching a photo of the poop; can anyone tell me if that is a roundworm or some other worm, please?

There is also a thread in the coop section with pictures of coops in hot weather climates. That thread was useful to me when I built my coop. Our concern is more about keeping them cool in the summer, so we need lots of windows or screen walls.
Welcome. What part of Louisiana are you from? I am near Baton Rouge. What breed(s) of chicken will you be getting?
I can't answer your question about moving, but good luck when you get your girls.
My girls are hatchery girls (from Meyer), but the Marans are all so sweet-by far the sweetest of my breeds. They are always jumping in my lap or just coming over to say hi. The Dominiques are also always in my business, but more in a pecking at me looking for food kind of way; the Marans just...
