What is wrong with my duckling?

They are clear, but she has taken a turn for the worse. Twice now, she has had what looks almost like a seizure, where she flops over and her neck goes stiff.

What is wrong with my duckling?

She was out on grass all day, but I haven't given her greens as a treat in several days. She did perk up in the warm water and pooped, but she is still doing the weird thing with her mouth. She ate some meal worms, though.

What is wrong with my duckling?

Yeah, I think you may be correct. After I posted the picture I messed with it, and there was no movement.

What is wrong with my duckling?

I decided to put her in the bathtub in warm water. She pooped a whitish light green poop, then dark green with what may be a roundworm. Her bill is not warm and I can see through her nares. I am attaching a photo of the poop; can anyone tell me if that is a roundworm or some other worm, please?

What is wrong with my duckling?

The six ducklings were born October 30, 2016, so they are one month old. They are currently in my garage at night and out in an enclosure during the day. I am in Louisiana, so our temperatures are still on the warm side. They no longer have supplemental heat. They have non-medicated chick...

What is wrong with my duckling?

She seems a bit clumsy and is shaking her head and standing still while the others are active, also her eyes seem dull. Also, she doesn't seem to want to lie down now that the rest of the ducklings are. I am attaching a short video of her head shaking. How should I treat this? Should I...

    Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

We got our first egg yesterday! Edith P, our tiny Black Copper Marans, spent the better part of an hour and a half in the nest box scratching around and settling and scratching and settling; she left the nest box twice and finally on visit three laid the tiniest, prettiest little egg. Edith...

You have some pretty girls; do you know what breeds they are? It looks like they are enjoying their beautiful new barn. Good luck with them.

There is also a thread in the coop section with pictures of coops in hot weather climates. That thread was useful to me when I built my coop. Our concern is more about keeping them cool in the summer, so we need lots of windows or screen walls.

    Hello from Louisiana

My girls are hatchery girls (from Meyer), but the Marans are all so sweet-by far the sweetest of my breeds. They are always jumping in my lap or just coming over to say hi. The Dominiques are also always in my business, but more in a pecking at me looking for food kind of way; the Marans just...
