My girls are hatchery girls (from Meyer), but the Marans are all so sweet-by far the sweetest of my breeds. They are always jumping in my lap or just coming over to say hi. The Dominiques are also always in my business, but more in a pecking at me looking for food kind of way; the Marans just want to be petted and settle in for a nap. You should definitely get some Marans
