Bobcat on the loose; Need advice on our Lone Drake now

Yeah I lost quite a few party ducks to bobcats. I mixed my ducks with pekins of different ages and they all did fine. I had to clear out the extra males a few times though.

Bobcat on the loose; Need advice on our Lone Drake now

First I would just double up your efforts to secure your duck and chickens. Once predators know where the grub is they keep coming back. That being said when I was raising khaki campbells, or I should say raising food for the local wildlife, they integrated with other duck breeds, male/female of...

MY CHICKENS ATE EACH OTHER AGHHH!!!!

I doubt cannibalism to that extreme unless you have a factory in your back yard. Predator is my guess.

    Chick feed thief

About a week ago I noticed something at night was knocking over my 5 gallon buckets of chicken feed and taking the tops off. I'm thinking racoon so I decide to set up my live trap. Well about two hours later I CAUGHT SOMETHING! Yep our youngest cat was in there sleeping. Well the next night I'm...

ANY AVAIN VET or persons who know about geese need help ASAP

I wouldnt force feed him. Just keep wound cleaned out. As long as hes drinking water he'll get hungry eventually. Since the attack was recent he could still be in some shock. As for bandaging I tend to just clean the wound with peroxide two or three times a day, and just keep an eye on him and...

    Hurt Chick, Help!!!!!!

I'm sure she'll be fine. Probably won't be picked on enough to be a problem if she is picked on at all. Just keep and eye on things and drink some calming tea.

Hatching again after 3 years, questions

Should be fine to put them in even if they are a couple of days apart. I'd run humidity way lower than 60% if your incubator has grooved for water, I'd put just a little water into one of the grooves and let it dry out before adding more water. Day 7 when you candle you should be able to get a...

    FLEAS!!!

Sevin dust will definitely get rid of fleas. I wouldn't use it very often considering it is poison. Maybe try to DE first. Clean out coop, I put it under the bedding and mix it into it. Also put some where your birds like to dust bathe. Make sure it's not pool grade DE it's gotta be food grade...
