    Pullet not acting right

After monitoring her I believe I am dealing with a respiratory issue. I hear wheezing with some breaths and she has nasal drainage. We do not have a vet in my area so what would be my best coarse of action?

    Pullet not acting right

I will be checking her crop again tonight and in the morning. I don’t see anything wrong outwardly. I have brought her inside to monitor her input and output and I am offering rooster booster. She has always been at the top of the pecking order so I don’t believe anyone is bullying her off feed...

    Pullet not acting right

I have an 8 month old pullet that is not acting her usual self. She is laying down more than usual and seems weak and a bit wobbly when walking around. She’s usually the first out of the coop but this morning she didn’t come out until I called for her. She has not laid an egg yet. I feel nothing...

    Pullet drinking excessively, acting ill

This is from a vet that treats chickens in a forum group that I am a part of online. We do not have a vet in my area that sees chickens unfortunately so this is the best I have.

She has not begun to lay. Her body feels normal aside from being really skinny. Vent looks fine. Everyone was treated with Corid within the past few weeks due to a younger chick having cocci and I treated everyone in case there was any transfer. Yes, grit is free choice.

    Pullet drinking excessively, acting ill

I have a pullet that is roughly 18 weeks. I noticed her moving slowly and just kind of wondering around the coop and sticking to herself a few days ago. I observed her drinking excessively and just kind of pecking at her food and not really eating. I brought her into our shop and I have her...

    Rooster not acting right

No luck on rehoming unfortunately. We have a lot of cockfighting in this area and the ones that offered to take him fit into that group. I just can’t knowingly give over a roo as bait. I am in the process of expanding the run to put the other rooster in a separated area. He acts like he is...

    Rooster not acting right

I have no idea what breed he is as I got him as an orphan chick so I’m unsure about weight. Like I said, he is very small but he feels and looks healthy. His poo is normal right now. When he started acting strange he had green poo like he wasn’t eating but it was back to normal the next day...

    Rooster not acting right

I have a rooster that is about 18 weeks old. His name is Don. He has been a part of his flock of one other rooster and 2 hens since he was about 2 weeks old. He started out as the top rooster and a few months in the other rooster decided he was going to be the top. He got pecked pretty good...

    Picture of chicken poo

I will cut back on cleaning then and just stick to cleaning water and feed bowls!! They are in a dog kennel inside of our shop that I set up as a quarantine area before introducing to my other flocks.

Thank you for the replies. Yes, I should have posted on other thread. My apologies. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t dealing with something else. Even after all of the research I did before getting chickens I definitely wasn’t prepared for sickness. I am just beside myself after losing that...
