    Broody Hen Thread!

    The eggs under my broody are all covered in sticky gunk and she is missing one egg. I am new to this but I think she ate one and made a mess on the others. Today is day 7. Will the gunk kill the others? Should I wipe them off? Leave them? Give her new eggs instead? Thanks for the help!

    33 Week Old RIR Not Laying

    My 33 week old hatchery RIR is not laying! I am sure of it. She is the only one I have that lays brown eggs and is old enough to lay and I never have brown eggs! We do let them free range, but we have searched everywhere. Any idea what is up with Rhoda? Should I hold out hope or assume she is a dud?
