North Carolina

Hello! Thanks for the dirty egg advice. I was finding a lot of conflicting info on the subject.

What time is the poultry show on Saturday?

Who's bringing what to sell? I'm donating a pair of faverolles to the silent auction and I'll have a young trio of SBEL's for sale. I'm looking for muscovies, faverolles and ameraucanas, but most of all I NEED a modern game pair and I'm in love with birchens.

Everybody keep an eye out, its chanterelle and fall oyster mushroom season (at least here at the coast, you guys inland have a lot more choices, but I'm afraid your season has passed). We're having sauteed chickens and oyster mushrooms for dinner tonight and it all came from the back yard (well, except for the garlic; it seems that I am an awful onion farmer).

I am showing: two black am cockerels, three pullets, one bbs pullet, one Buckeye cockerel one muscovy, one MW turkey and one partridge silkie roo. My daughter is showing a showgirl cockerel, a slw bantam pullet and she's doing showmanship with her buff silkie hen.
