On a semi-related note, what sensor settings do you have your opening & closing at? I have mine set to close @ 2, but since the sunrise is starting to change, I’m having an issue with it opening a little too late. I can’t seem to get the opening level right. TIA.
I actually went and bought him his own coop & put it by the girls. He’s doing exceptionally well. He still crows & dances for them and calls to them when he gets a bug or treat. I’m giving him some time with them & it’s working out very well. Hopefully it stays this path.
I am new ti chickens & am researching this too. I also have bantams (satin silkies, frizzle Mille fleur, & d’Uccle). Am I okay to feed them crumbles for their entire life? Thanks in advance!
