    I have been having this problem with one of my new pullets. I have tried the vinegar, but have not seen any change. How long does it take or what do I do if it doesn't work? The pullet is acting fine except the large mass sticking out of its front, you can't even tell she's sick.

    I have to agree on the not being able to tell once they reach a certain age. They were very small in size, but that has more to do with the breed of bantum as opposed to the weather.

    I think I remembered a rule thaty ou had the conservation dept if a protected species got in your livestock/land/pond. Not sure if it's still require though.

    I've had conflict between my rooster and boss hen on occasion. I think it is because the rooster feels threatened by the boss hen authority. I have had to increase the flock size or add another rooster so my main rooster would be more threatened by the other male than the boss hen. I 'm not sure...
