    Hi all, I just placed an order online for 20 EE's yesterday. All it says is they ship chicks every tuesday but it does not give a ship date for my order. Can anyone tell me how long after placing your order that you got a ship date and received chicks?

    Only 3 chicks

    With only having 3 chicks, i would suggest keeping the space they are in small. I had a big brooder one time in my shed and instead of huddling together, they all seperated and at the time is was cold out and 2 died. But if you have them inside in the warm, they should be fine.

    Is it ok to keep them in a dark room? I don't know I never did this before I always ordered chicks from hatcheries.

    I am going to be keeping eggs over the next couple days to hatch. How many days can eggs be left set out and they still be hatchable when I put in the incubator? I'm hoping they can still be good up to about 7 days....?
