    I have a beautiful blue bantam cochin roo (6 weeks) that I'll be bringing unless someone wants him sooner. He was purchased locally from a show/breeder. He's free to anyone on BYC that wants him...I'd like for him to have a good home since I can only keep him until he crows.

    Thanks for the reply . This one had a teeny tiny comb at 3 weeks and no red at all...so, I was pretty sure he was a she, now not so much. Does anyone else have any opinions? Oh, and I was also wondering if his darker blue is any indication of being a roo...The other blue is a much lighter...

    New run sandbox

    That is really neat! (taking notes for new run...) We put our existing small tractor over where the previous owners had a playhouse/sandbox...the girls have dug up all the sand that had been buried in the dirt. They love it.

    Thank you. I suppose I could always cover the sides in plastic if it doesn't seem to be working. The coop will be sitting next to the shed, which will give some wind block also.
