Just in case anyone cares, this one turned out to be female. I had rehomed her thinking it was a male... I had to many for my space anyway, so it worked out ok.

She just started laying a fee weeks ago and a few have had blood spots in them, however I do not have a rooster. Is this normal?

Oh, I went and saw her today and I swear she was looking at me with sad eyes lol. She seems to recognize at times, my babies voice? Is that possible?

She only has 2 other hens she lived with, there are 3 younger birds that they still chased, so they are separated but they do free range together. My other hen seems agitated since she's been gone, maybe I'm just noticing her behaviors now since I miss her. Idk... How long is quarantine? I...

Ugh, I can't stop thinking about her, I think I'm going to get her back. I feel silly for being so attached...

I only was planning on having 4 but I have 5 at the moment, plus on I might take back from a friend. Sorry it's not that great of a picture, but its a small coop with a long Chunnel.

She has been gone since late last night, and she was only with 2 other birds. The 3 younger chicks are still not big enough to put in with the bigger ones yet.
