Please tell me I got one hen out of these two frizzles!

Well poo! They are so cute! Well, I'm going to breed with them if they are males because they are so adorable. I have the worst luck getting hens from bantams!

Attaching run to coop ideas please!

We were leaning towards that or lifting the run on cinders but that seems like a TON of cinders and hardware cloth. Making a hallway of some sort between the two sounded easier!

Attaching run to coop ideas please!

I need some outside the box ideas! We have a coop we are building. It's 10 feet tall (due to being on concrete block foundation). Our run, which we already had is only 6 feet tall. How would you attach the run to the coop? We made the coop so tall because we wanted to use real doors and not...

Polish crested - roo or hen?

I do have what looks to be 3 roos, but my whole flock is around 12 weeks old, so no mating yet. I literally watched them eat her feathers. I haven't seen that before. I'll try to add in some protein. They aren't really mean to her, she's definitely lower on the pecking order, but she's super...

Polish crested - roo or hen?

She acts hen-ish, but I just don't really know. She's 12 weeks. They also eat the feathers on the back of her head! Why is that?? She's bald in back! lol

    Look at this paw print...

I think it's a mink that was in there! There's no way a raccoon could have gotten in the run. There's just not enough space. No chickens were killed because they were locked up tight, but a mink or weasel definitely murdered all of my other chickens a couple months ago. Should I buy a trap...

    Little Bantam Roo

Thanks! Got him at Atwoods - I'm guessing OEGB.

    Cockerel?, Bantam?

Looks like a roo, but it doesn't look like a bantam to me.
